I've just completed my degree in Photography (BA) at The University of Edinburgh. I live in St. Gallen, Switzerland where I teach English as a second language. I visit home often in Glenrothes, Scotland to see my boyfriend, family and most importantly my dog Chester. "Berry's knowledge and skillset with regards to camper care needs and life at camp were strongly relied upon during the beginning of the summer - she was willing to help train new staff. Berry built on this knowledge this summer and continued to offer campers a high level of care, support, and encouragement, consistently abiding by camp's policies and procedures.
Despite not being required to run programs as part of her role, Berry was always enthusiastic to step in and run a range of programs when the team was short staffed and continued to offer support with programming throughout the summer. Her media programs were popular, and she planned and led many camp wide activities which were well received by campers. In terms of photography, Berry was able to capture all the best moments of camp and consequently put together some wonderful slideshows which were thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Berry formed positive relationships with campers and staff and communicated well with her colleagues. She reflected and fed back on what works best for her in terms of scheduling, which helped her to manage her time as efficiently as possible." -Rebecca Allen, Program Director 2022
